The engraving was tilted off but its too much of a hassle to return and process. It was a gift that I want to give in a timely fashion. I also have received too many emails after purchase and can’t find an easy way to opt out. I hesitate doing business with Artcrat Gifts again because of this. |

Item as described. This clipboard is excellent for looking professional in the office & reception area. Looks great, terrific durability, and craftsmanship is amazing. Definitely will order more like these in the future from PorterHouseCrafts. Service at this company is excellent as well! We had a problem with 1 clip board we ordered, and not only did they make the process easy for replacing the item, the new item looks even better than the original item ordered! The pictures of this wooden clipboard are accurate. Of course, the silky feel of the wood cannot be experienced until you actually receive the order. I had the clip board personalized with the name of the teacher who is to receive it as a gift. Again, the pictures on the web site were very accurate. Even with regular shipping, I received the clipboard within 10 days of ordering. Excellent product, excellent service. |

I was very impressed with the aesthetic design and quality when I received this clipboard. The wood is rich and deep, and the finish is smooth. The craftsmanship really turns something mundane and utilitarian into an artistic tool. I will use this almost every day. |

I just wanted to say a quick thank you for the handcrafted clipboard. It is well made and is everything I hoped it would be. I ecspecially want to say how impressed I was when I got a call from the company to explain that there might be a slight variation from the picture on the website, and to see if that was okay with me; which it was. That, in my opinion, is an excellent example of customer relations. Thank you. |

I purchased several miniature wooden clipboards with cherry and other woods in the checkered design. They are even more beautiful than in the pictures; each is different and unique. It is hard to choose a favorite. The quality of the woodworking, the personalization, and the sturdy flat clip is wonderful. What wasn’t there to not like. The product came in a very timely matter and was packaged very well. The clipboard itself was way nicer than it looked in the picture. I am using it at work and have had many great compliments on it. The only reason I gave it a 9 was the fact I was a little disappointed with the custom lettering I had put on it. It dosen’t look like it will last very long and doesn’t add the class to it I thought it would. Other than that I got more than my mony’s worth.

I was very pleased with this clipboard. This will be a gift for my boss and I know he will really like it. I was impressed with the quality and design. Very impressive gift to give someone. The only problem I had was when I placed the order I did check ’’gift wrap’’ and chose the paper to gift wrap it in, but it came without the gift wrapping. Otherwise, very satisfied.

The clipboard is beautiful. I ordered engraving on the bottom corner, and the stain that was put on to darken the letters was not totally removed from the finished board leaving the corner somewhat darker. Not a fatal flaw, but it could have easily been avoided.

Item Information:
Handmade regular wooden clipboards crafted in Iowa by Joel and Karma Brokaw of JK Creative Wood. This beautifully designed clipboard has inlaid wood pieces laminated together into a unique, one of a kind pattern. Features a low profile metal clip which lays flat, opened by a small lever and is designed to hold up to 50 pages. Wood grain and inlay design vary and may include: walnut, red oak, hickory/pecan, elm, coffee bean, cherry, cedar, padauk, purple heart, mahogany, maple, ash, hackberry, and sassafras. Images on our site are examples of what the artisan can produce. Makes a smart gift for teachers, students and academics. To keep your product protected and looking it’s best, occasionally treat the finish with lemon oil using a clean rag.
Sizing: 13" long by 9.5" wide by 1/4" deep. Each pattern varies with grains and wood inlay.

Please unpack merchandise carefully and inspect upon receipt. In the event of breakage, please call us immediately (888 362-4789), so that we can go over the procedures for replacing the damaged item(s). Leave everything in the original box, with the packing materials. DO NOT SHIP ANYTHING BACK TO US WITHOUT CONTACTING US FIRST; WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ISSUE CREDIT TO YOUR CARD OR STORE CREDIT IF OUR PROCEDURES ARE NOT FOLLOWED, OR IF THERE IS FURTHER DAMAGE TO THE ITEM(S).
For Exchanges:
Items may be exchanged for other items, or for store credit, within a six- month period. Any items sent back to us must reach us in saleable condition. Customer pays return shipping fees.
For Refunds:
We will issue refunds to your credit card if an item(s) reaches you damaged and you do not want a replacement, or if an item has been misrepresented on our website. Misrepresentation must be agreed to by both parties. Refunds for misrepresented items will include shipping fees, and will be issued once the item(s) comes back to us in saleable condition.
No returns or exchanges for personalized or engraved items unless damaged, or received with an error.
No returns for STUDIO DIRECT orders unless damaged; handled at the discretion of the artist.
Lost or incorrectly delivered packages:
You will be given a tracking number when an item is shipped. If the package becomes lost or does not reach you, we will work with you in filing the proper UPS or USPS claim. Refund based on outcome of insurance claim; we are not liable after package has been successfully turned over to the carrier.
Late shipment Arrivals:
Please bear in mind, when you receive your tracking number, and the carrier has successfully obtained the package, we are not liable for the published or estimated shipment times. They are not guaranteed, especially with weather related delays.
