Artist Info: Far Fetched is a unique company creating whimsical original jewelry designed in the tiny town of Sebastapol California and made by artisans under the fair trade federation. All of their creations are from the heart, hand made by artisans in pure and precious metals.The combination of sterling silver, brass, and copper creates a wonderful three dimensional visual statement with the result being realistic as well as creative. Recently we have added the far fetched’s Mimi and Oly line (named after the owners two daughters) which represent an affordable and accessible alternative to sterling silver by using an "alpaca" alloy of copper, zinc and nickel. Also known as "German Silver"; alpaca pieces have a long history in jewelry fabrication used for its durability and silver appearance.
