Gem Jam: Janusz Janisiewicz from Norwood New Jersey brings to our gallery a breathtaking collection of genuine Amber from the Baltic Sea region. He works closely with Polish jewelers to help create unique one of a kind pieces out of sterling silver. Janusz seeks out amber that encompasses the full range of its versatility. Many of the pieces in this collection are of multiple colors ranging from milky yellow, honey, cherry and earthy green. He has the jewelry designed in a way to rejoice in the variety the material has to offer. Many pieces are inspired by the unique form and shape in which the amber cooled and was broken. The Polish artisans respect the one of kind qualities in the fossilized resin and have created beautiful elegant settings to show case the natural beauty and not take away from it.
