These vibrant candles are hand painted in Johannesburg, South Africa; a country often reffered to as the "Rainbow Nation". The wide ranges of patterns, together with the rich palettes of color, reflect the South African landscape and its diverse cultures. Many of the designs incororate animal prints and geometric shapes that are frequently used in tribal patterns.
