" This letter opener is a piece of art. It is very beautiful and I’m glad that I ordered it. My only complaint is that it is not too sharp. It does not always pierce or slice open an envelope easily. It frequently takes a little more ’’oomph’’ to push the opener through the paper of an envelope than other letter openers that I have used. None of those were nearly as beautiful as this one and I guess I’m strong enough to open any letter with this opener. It would be better if it were sharper, though."
