The pin was just lovely. I got it for my best friend who is turning 60. She and I and one other friend have had a great friendship going on for over 30 yrs. and I thought this would be a great gift for each one of us. The pin is as described... very shiny and alluring. The pin truly is lovely and the gift recipient loved it! I would also like to comment on this site’s customer service. I came across this website through a google search but had never heard of it before. Before placing an order for the pin I had been searching for, I called first to get a feel for the owners of the company. Their customer service was wonderful and they couldn’t have been more polite and helpful. This sincerely is a highly recommended company to do business with. This pin was a replacement for my wife. Her sister bought it for her at Christmas and my wife lost it. She was very upset about losing it so I searched the net and found another one for her through you. She loves the pin and wears it only when she is with her sisters now. She is afraid of it slipping off again. She tries to be careful when fastening it making shure the clasp is completly closed. Which isn’t the easiest task. I am spending a week with my sister in September 2009 and wanted to get something for the two of us so I ordered 2 bracelets. I have not worn mine yet. I am curious if it will turn my arm green. I purchased 3 of these, 1 for each of 3 sisters in our family. They are well made and absolutely beautiful! I had seen this item advertised with other companies but when ordered from 1 in particular, was charged for shipping and tax but the item was never shipped! When questionning the charges, was told the item was no longer available and would not ship - disappointed to say the least. Will no longer order from that company due to the way it was handled.
